Say It, Believe It, Bank It: Money Mantras for Financial Success

You might be asking, “Um, what even IS a money mantra?” It’s like an affirmation, but about – you guessed it – money. If that seems a little weird, that’s the whole point. So many people have uncomfortable feelings toward money, or aren’t super confident about their relationship with money. These mantras are meant to help you with that. You can read these mantras to yourself, post sticky note reminders around your house, journal about them, scream them out loud, whatever you want! Use these affirmations to help you reframe your mindset about money.

I am worthy of massive amounts of money

Yep, let that one sink in. You are worthy of earning big time, regardless of your current income situation. You are capable, talented, and qualified enough to make your financial dreams come true. And guess what, you totally deserve it!

It’s okay to want more

If that last mantra made you feel a little icky inside, then this one is for you. Some people might think that wanting massive amounts of money is greedy, and that it’s tacky to feel that way. That’s simply not true. It’s okay to want more money. In fact, you should want more money. Why? Because more money means more choices. More money allows you to work less and spend more time with your family. More money lets you take care of the ones you love. More money means more freedom. So yeah, go ahead and lean into that feeling of wanting more! More doesn’t always come from a place of greed, oftentimes it comes from a place of knowing you are bigger than your current reality. It’s time to stop playing small and be your most true self – more money and all.

Money is valuable, but the money I make does not define my value.

Even though money does give you all those choices and freedom we just talked about, it doesn’t define you as a person. You are valuable, no matter the balance of your bank account. Your worth is not defined by a dollar sign. You can both see the value of money, and value your identity outside of money.

My money story today does not tell the story of my future

So let’s say you’re not where you want to be financially at the moment…that’s okay! Where you’re at now isn’t where you’ll always be. Remember that first mantra? You are capable of earning more. As you continue to learn more about money and growing your wealth (which is exactly what this blog can help you with), you’ll make changes to your personal life, your business, your sales strategies, and even your spending habits and you’ll begin writing a new money story – one that more closely reflects your true self.

I make money doing what I love

This mantra is actually inspiring in two different ways. First, it’s a reminder that your job is something you’re actually passionate about. What an amazing gift! Whether you’re rolling in the dough or still working toward your money goals, you get to earn a living doing something that  brings you joy. Another way of looking at this affirmation is that it’s declaring that you will be able to earn money by actively pursuing the things you love. This can be especially encouraging if you’re at the point of just considering starting a business, leaving your 9-5 to focus on your side gig full time, or not currently bringing in a profit with your business.
